Circle Report - Run 1842

Tiger Lily
Bukit Gombak.

Run Report:
The gloomy overcast skies did nothing to dampen the spirits of the hardy bunch that turned up at Bukit Gombak. However, a few faces turned to gloom as the Hare suggested this could be a slightly longish run. Oh dear, in Tiger Lily terms that means anywhere between 10 and 15 kms! Paper was soon seen heading up the big green grass hill behind the MRT and off we went. A lot of the pack decided to stay in the lowlands, as the paper along the tree line at the top of the hill could be followed easily from an altitude that did not require oxygen masks. Eventually a decision had to be made at the high rise flats, as the lowlanders found a circle check. Common sense would suggest that finally we had to make the trek up the big hill and into the wilderness where we had been before on previous runs. So those with common sense started to climb up, while those with common sense plus cunning stayed down and searched the lowlands. And it was cunning that won the day, as the call came from along Bukit Batok West Ave 3 running parallel with the MRT. It was the cunning GM leading the way. A Circle at the intersection of Bukit Batok Rd had Sneaky Comer, Comes Quietly and yours truly examining a locality map for clues. Finally it was decided to follow Boo along Brickland Rd. and this proved a good move. Soon we were off road and into the bush trails and it was Singaporn leading the way until she saw a bit of shiggy and shrieked Im not going through that! The boys running behind her made sure she did run through that, and after encountering a T check 50 meters further on, we made sure she ran through it again on the way back! Head for the canal was the call from Boo and a good call it was. There we found the short/long split. The short route is shorter than the long route explained the Hare. Not sure exactly of what she meant, Shoe Shopper tried to clarify things by asking Is the long route longer than the short route? having clarified that, the runners wanting a long run took the long split and those wanting a shorter run took the short split. See, Hashing doesnt have to be complicated!

Anyway, I can tell you that eventually the shorter run came out onto Bukit Batok West Ave 2, went along West Ave 25, into East Ave 15, up and down North South Ave 57, right at South by South West Ave 103, did a loop around North East South West Avenue 360 finishing up on Bukit Batok North North East Ave 203 for the final leg home. The front runners, Shoe Shopper and I, who luckily had done an advanced navigational course, finished in 1 hour five minutes. Why were we on the short run, well you may ask? We both had medical conditions. The longer than the short run did some scenic routes in the bush before emerging onto tarmac near the Greasy Spoon at the Jurong East Heavy Vehicle Car Park. No doubt they too had to make their way through the exotic street names that grace Bukit Batok, with the pack arriving home in 1 hour 20 minutes. In all an enjoyable run, and something a bit different for this area. Well done Tiger Lily, now run back and pick up all the paper.

The Circle
What did we think off the run? Too short, not enough running, too dry and other preposterous statements were offered, but no doubt this was a good run. Shes all right, shes all right, a little flat chested but..

Next week;
Dempsey Rd Car Park, Halloween Run, dress creepy and virgins will be sacrificed.

Virgins;
Yuko and Hio. They look too nice to sacrifice!

Returnees;
Bushy Brows (how did he get that name??), Dotty

Visitors:
Bagless and Half Cut

The Firm Tits;
Boo overhead a little domestic issue out on the run tonight. Jonathon, wheres the short cut? Jonathon, wheres the long cut? And just how did Kan Not Can respond to this pestering from Kan The Cobra? He thumbed his nose at her of course, even if it was when she wasnt looking! Kan the Cobra gets the Firm Tits for being such a demanding wife, and ends up being a cross dresser with tits up top and her penis apron down under.

The Saggy Tits;
Knobby Boy Scout is caught napping and asks for a couple of minutes while he thinks up a charge. Eventually he calls in Singaporn as he had to offer to carry her across a bit of mud when she was the lead women. Also, Comes Quietly and I are brought in as Aussie fathers. Apparently a survey found that Aussie dads spend the least amount of time with their children. Well we cant help it if the Government says that children under 18 are not allowed in pubs.

Lipstick:
Boo, Shiggy Piggy, Shaggy Dick 2 and I are all found guilty of lacking a female and given appropriate treatment.

AOB;
Kan Not Can mentions the upcoming Harriets 35th Anniversary Run at Changi on the 29th November. He then asks for volunteers to help with various tasks involved with the event, including tying up goody bags. This gained immediate response from Shaggy Dick who like s the thought of a bit of bondage with Goody Bags, and who can blame him!

Knobby Boy Scout announces how Tiger Lily beat everyone except the 1st male home in a 15km run last week. 63 minutes is not bad for 15kms but surely she could have aimed at sub 60. Have a fair dinkum go next time will you Tiger!

Shaggy Dick 2 then mentions that I was also involved with some marathon running last week in Bali. Unfortunately it was running to the toilet with Bali Belly for 6 days! And on that note,

On On On to Mr. Hos fish an chips!
