Dances with Kerbs, Sybil and Zipp
The Run
Dances With Kerbs briefed the pack - not to look for flour, paper or chalk as there wasn't any. We were to follow the clues both pictures and text to complete the sightseeing hash. Zipp was worried some hashers may complain as they preferred to run. No worries there Zipp as this was a definite run, FRB did not even pause to check their paper they ran and checked at the same time. No Ts or Circles to slow them down it was definitely a RUN. We went past such sights as the Kallang Gas Works Sivan Temple - seems the park used to be the gas works site, the Syed Alwi mosque, through the hole in the wall (not many hashers took this trail SCBs). Into Gotham City - what is in that building? Past the sheesha restaurants, through the Malay Heritage Centre and back to the park. Then it was byriani chicken, mutton or fish - still hot and spicy. Boo and Quickie could have been at home sat in chairs at the table, subtle lighting and great company. The circle came next.
What did we think of the run? The hares were greeted with calls of a good run - unusual and a lot of work all those photos and clues.

The Tits: Fat Crashing Bastard had given them to Too Easy
to give away. Wet Thong was called up and reported to have been seen going
into the police station to ask a friendly policeman directions – well the
clues got a bit confusing at that point and being relatively new in
Singapore we don’t know our way around as well as you old hands so use a bit
of initiative. Loose Change was also called up for making a horrible mess
with her curry. Wet Thong won the vote.

The Dick: Twin Towers had the Dick and called up Kan the
Kobra who had been hungry on the way round the hash and wanting a roti prata
encouraged Twin Towers to divert to a roti prata restaurant. She also met
Comes Quietly and said to him,“Comes Quietly, I didn’t see you come.” This
comment must have made an impression as not much later in the circle Father
Anus got up and called Comes Quietly and Kan the Kobra into the circle and
to everyone’s surprise started to give the same charge. Well Father Anus
soon got a down down for not paying attention – what was he up to when the
first charge was made??
AOB:
- Zipp came into the circle and called in Confucius, Indecent Exposure and Armless and informed them that the eclipse was between 6 and 9 am not 6 and 9 pm so they had been sitting by the water gazing up at the sky for nothing.
- Sybil called Zipp back in to tell her that during an eclipse she is not allowed to eat or drink or go to the prayer room so she knew exactly what time the eclipse took place – it was 8.45 to 9.41!! So Zipp got a down down for wrong timing.
- Loose Change charged Boo with being totally lost – for once!! No chalk, no flour, looking for his wife. And where was Quickie – in front reading the map.
- Sarah called in Black Member who wrote out his cheque for membership and luckily she checked as it was written out to Lion City Hash!
- Stiffy came into the circle to talk about the unusual night we were having. Having to read up on the trail so we knew where to go, food before the circle and now 3 parrots on the hash – Is that unusual!! Zipp, Confucius and Sybil were called in for cracking sunflower seeds.
- Virginia Slim was called in by Dances with Kerbs who doing her sweeping duty saw him in the back lanes of Arab Street somewhere around Bali Lane. Why so far back? They had taken a while to find the bird in Gotham City – well that was his excuse.
