Run report

Run report #2675
Runsite: Delta Circus Fringe Carpark
Hares: Sex Pit
Date: 23 September 2026

“How long’s the run?”
“About 6 km, short.”

Famous. Last. Words.

Fast forward 1 hr, sun setting over a hazy Singapore river. Harriets drenched in sweat as we frantically try tracing back our 3rd t-check of the day.

“Ay, joder” mutters RunDMC.
“We’ve not even checked the road to rhe right yet?!”, berates Swiss Itch.
“Ermmm, can we not just head to the drink stop now?”, laments Cockfiscator.

The walkers are gone, lost before we even set out. (Upon our return, we established that they had, in fact, already jumped ship and were well underway in their endeavour to drink Mr Lim dry….) For the remaining runners battling the route, pirate code has well and truly been established: those that fall behind get left behind.

Bafflement abound, a 400 m radius in every conceivable direction from the t-check has been searched. Still no luck. Is this sweat or frustrated tears that soak our shirts?

When – through the haze, appearing with a barely-dared-believable shout of “I need a woman!!” – Where’s the Beef, who has miraculously found a marking, and in the process saving us all from sweaty doom.

A visibly relieved Hare rewards us with a drink stop featuring a more than healthily-strong G&T. No doubt trying to help speed the memory-forgetting process before the revenge charges begin.

On shaky last legs, we stumble on in home, only to encounter one last cruel demand from the Hare: we must sing (yes really) for our supper (well, drinks).

Vocal chords warmed up by Dolly Parton renditions, we follow with a merry Hashy Birthday to our regulars Karang Guni and Phone Sex.

Charges at the circle are punctuated by a sniggering Fool Cock Up & RunDMC, who have spied tonight’s pudding – a questionable looking cake… which was swiftly wolfed down at on on by all.

A great run, with great birthday spirit. Thanks to the Hare for a lively evening, and scarring a few fun memories into the collective Harriets memory – On on !
