Hares: Dirty Bum

It was a fabulous eve for a run as the rain had cleared and cooled the air.  Not such a fabulous day for the hare laying the run – before the rain.  Dirty Bum : “Pink chalk is probably washed away, but I used sawdust too” as she caressed an impressively large stick of pink chalk during the chalk-talk.
The pack was off and in a forewarning for the rest of the run, we ran straight over the first turn – “On back!” was the first of many calls for the night.
As the pack worked as a team to find each mark with cries of ‘off paper”, “looking”, “on BACK” ringing through the night, it occurred to me that Dirty Bum was so attached to that piece of chalk that she did not want to use it all up and begrudgingly put an arrow approximately every 1/2 kilometer alternated with a small pile of rain soaked sawdust.
A hero hasher emerged in the role of newest FRB.  In a pack severely lacking in harriets Cockfiscator picked up the gauntlet and answered the call “I need a woman” with authority.
The entire pack arrived at the drink stop within minutes of each other,  even Frozen Stiff who walked the entire trail with his arm in a sling.  Kudos to the hare!  Dirty Bum served up cups of orange juice which sounds refreshing – except it was mostly vodka, and everyone forgave her the extra km we ran searching for marks.
We formed a circle:  – Dirty Bum – great run! We stayed together, we worked together and we saw some new territory in the city.  – DeadFish must have missed us terribly as he talked nonstop, making up for months of absence.  – Monkey Fuckerer had been begging for lipstick as he kept randomly sprinting ahead during the run, and seemed truly disappointed that some harriet (ahem, me) had forgotten to bring the lipstick.  Instead he got the dick.  Bring it back!  – Cockfiscator was recognized for her FRB running  – Dirty Bum was charged with Un-hash-like behavior for being so polite by admitting the she had changed the wording on her message to SexPit last week from “did YOU overcharge for the run” to “did ‘we’ overchange for the run”.    (Yes, I did)
