Surprise of the interhash ! GM was seen walking twice past the group before realising that the massive group crowded in Bougainvillea Park was in fact the Harriets. Throw 2 additional virgins into the mix, and last week’s run saw a biggg group… unfortunately, still a group that was unfamiliar with the breaking-checks concept.

The hare went T-check mad, much to the collective dismay of the Harriets. Everyone, that is, except for Saliva. Despite never being seen running, nor breaking a sweat, she miraculously materialised 10 steps ahead at every fresh turn.

Road, shiggy, and a rusty old ladder (whose age was thankfully only revealed long after the run ended). A drink stop was greatly enjoyed by all at Mary Jane’s #ourqueen.

The run was followed by a hearty on on at the classic Harriets Red Lantern. It remains to be seen whether we’re allowed back – a few eyebrows were definitely raised as 6 sweaty, drunken hashers stumbled out of a very plush, very obviously 5-seater car, amidst cries of “Thanks, Father Anus!”
