A huge thank you to our guest hares for a great run that kept us running in one big group, through the jungle-y delights of Tagore Lane. A few grumbles from Strapless about a supposed “lack of running”, but we suspect this was in fact his manly way of expressing jealousy of Windy Bar’s beautiful tutu.

Mother’s tongue was up to her usual party trick of de-robing – this time, selecting our latest guest, Schweinhund, as tribute. Outfits all round were red, rosy, making us a strange looking sight. Boxer was particularly glam in a hash dress- which upon closer questioning was found to in fact be a t-shirt of Penile Extension.

Zipp unzipped a bag of treasures, containing the largest collection of Singapore flags that has ever been amassed. Thanks to the creative zeal of a National Day run, Frozen Stiff finally – after weeks of failed attempts – succeeded in persuading the majority of Harriets in selecting the names for our two newest recruits….

…and yes, they did – yet again – ‘forget’ our favourite gadget (month II and counting).

The circle was closed on a more sober note (in atmosphere only of course – a toast was raised on top of the festive beers that had already been swallowed). RIP, former member Confusius. Memories were shared, stories revealed, and reflections on a great hasher and great friend. A beautiful way of celebrating the life of a celebrity Harriet.
